After you formatted your drive, drive d or other drives won’t appear. This is because drive d is unallocated and not yet formatted that’s why it will not appear. To make it appear you make to format it yourself.
- Click start, right click computer then click manage.
- Computer management will open, right click the unallocated space then click new simple volume.
- Wizard will open, click next to proceed. Allocate the volume size of your hard disk. Don’t touch it if you wish to use the maximum disk space. Next assign the disk letter example D then press next. Press next again leave the default setting to format the disk. Finally click finish. You successfully formatted drive D.
